Cart-Type Pneumatic Lifting Mobile Lighting Tower
The mobile light tower utilizes compressed air to lift the mast (requires no electricity) and has high-power light output. The mobile light tower provides excellent flood lighting for construction, mining, or events. The mast extends to either 4.5m, 5m, or 6m in a matter of seconds – completely eliminating manual cranking or hydraulic maintenance! The generator can support up to (4) individual lights (LED, Gas Discharge or Halogen) that are IP65-rated (Water Resistant) providing maximum lighting throughout long shifts.
For improved flexibility during transportation and extended operating times, this model includes the option to install an electric assist drive system which enhances ease of movement when traversing on rugged, unlevel surfaces. Additionally, the possibility of using pan-tilt remote control capability to create a multi-angle beam has been engineered through the use of an automatic, self-inspection system, thereby assuring that unit is both safe and verified upon startup.
This light tower’s compact dimensions (2,000 × 900 × 1,460 mm) and lightweight (290 kg) make it an extremely portable and heavy-duty light source that is capable of adapting to the most demanding conditions.

OEM/ODM Services for Pneumatic Light Tower Buyers
Customised Pneumatic Lighting Solutions
Each of our pneumatic mobile light towers has been created to your specific designs. You determine your choice of lamp types, height of mast, how you want to operate your generator, and the complexity of your control panel. There are additional options like explosion proof bases, self-test systems, pan and tilt heads, or electric assist driving systems. All of the options are completely assembled in our shop before we ship them to you. Everything included with a unit has also been tested and documented to guarantee immediate use upon arrival.
How to Select Your Pneumatic Lighting Tower
Three key considerations to match the right mobile lighting unit to your operational needs.
Lamp Technology & Coverage
Gas discharge lamps (1000W) remain the most common choice for achieving high levels of brightness in a wide range and space. If your project requires an instantaneous restrike as well as minimal fuel consumption, LED modules are the best option because they will produce less waste and can be returned to use quickly between shifts. Halogen tungsten provides an inexpensive alternative for shorter term applications. Select between 2 and 4 lamptypes based upon your desired level of focused versus general overall illumination.
Mast Height & Air Supply
To cover standard construction sites, a 4.5 m mast is normally sufficient. To cover major jobs, a 5 m or 6 m masts may be required. This pneumatic system simply uses a conventional compressed-air supply (if your run already has compressed-air tools) and can be used without any modifications to existing infrastructure.
Generator & Mobility Options
Match generator output at 20% over lamp wattage. Add electric assist drive when moving the unit frequently over rough ground. Optional extended fuel tank and self-inspection system can reduce operator involvement and provide more consistent and safer operation throughout the project’s life.
Frequently Asked Questions
What compressed air pressure is required for the pneumatic mast?
Aluminum mast will work with 6 to 8 bar of compressed air, like most workshops use. A minimal amount of air is required to lift the mast, and a simple valve can safely release the lamp assembly to a transport height.
Can the pneumatic light tower be used in explosive atmospheres?
The tower is also compliant with the requirements for Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous environments if it has been supplied with optional explosion-proof light fittings. When placing an order, it is necessary to specify the certification standard required (either ATEX or IECEx).
How long can the tower operate on a single tank of fuel?
The generator runtime will be determined by other load types like using multiple affordance fixtures (i.e. led’s). A typical diesel-powered generator having a 3000W output will run between 10-12 hours on a standard size fuel tank while powering two 200W LED lamps. An extended fuel tank option, for the same generator, will provide up to double the duration of operation, allowing users to have a continuous light source for up to two complete shifts of night work.
Is this mobile light tower suitable for road towing?
No. This is an on-site manual or electric assist mobility compact push‐cart. It is not designed to be towed on roads.
If you require trailer-towed units that can achieve highway speeds, please ask about our trailer-mounted light tower series.
