The solar security tower that is on a trailer can be moved quickly and set up without permanent wiring or grid power, unlike fixed systems that are permanent. The system works with 50-150 watt LED lamps, with masts that extend from 3-6 meters. It uses battery storage of 5-20 kilowatts, along with single crystalline silicon solar panels, remote control options, an infrared sensor 5 million pixel security camera, and an intelligent wireless Internet of Things substation. Solar Panel & Battery Capacity
If you need something only temporarily and in bright sun, a battery and solar panel that’s smaller in size can work; however, if you plan to do anything to monitor your home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, use a stronger setup (300-600-watt panels) and have enough storage in your batteries (10,000-20,000 watt hours) to run your equipment while away from power sources. The type of batteries include gel, lithium iron phosphate, lead acid, and absorbed glass mat (AGM).
